The territory is located in the interface of Krasnoselsky and Petrodollar districts. Krasnoselsky district is representing one of the most ecologically safe sleeping cell in St. Petersburg. Petrodvorcovy district is a developing zone of expensive country housing. In doing so, in this area there are no big shopping and laisure centers or fitness centers.
After input in a system of the Western Ring Road in this area will continue development of medium rise housing. In general the southern part of the city is aims to build low-income housing.
Historically the territory along the Gulf of Finland had exclusively recreational function till the second half of the 20th century. The owners of it, first of all, were imperial families and Russian nobilty only. They were creating there big park complexes, palaces and another accompanying infrastructure. Since the beginning of 2000th the Government made a lot of investment into reconstruction of the sea residence of the President, what stimulated development of the area along the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland.
The existance of tourist and representational attraction, a golf club, a large number of parks, organizations on small boats are giving positive impact on image of territory. The investment attractiveness of a southwest planning zone is connected also with placement of educational and science establishment and job opportunity in the workplace.
