Urban planning of peninsula Bezymyannyi

The territory is located in a northwest part of Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg, between Krestovsky and Yelagin islands, in border of Municipal district No. 63

Functional use is managed by decisions of Master Plan of St. Petersburg and Rules of Land Use and Building considering the territory as recreational zone together with Krestovsky, Bychyi, Yelagin and Kamennyi islands.

Main transport connecting the territory with Krestovsky island is existing street of local value crossing peninsula from the southeast on the northwest to its center and it ends with turning circle. The project provide forming of streets, improvement and reconstruction of coverings. Thus it’s formed one district. Also it’s offered to create several passages coming to embankments in the North-South direction and dividing territories of perspective sport centers.

On border of peninsula along water and moorings (from northern, western and southern parts) are formed public pedestrian green zones.

Building up to 18 m high are placed, generally, in the depth of peninsula, accenting only the main axes of symmetry. In this way, all allocated public territories as embankments and passages will have a park zone priority.
